A surprising scene caught on social media this week shows two capybaras – also known as carpinchos – trying to walk across the frozen surface of a lagoon in the Esteros del Iberá, Corrientes province, in northern Argentina.<br /><br />Despite the scare, the animals were able to move slowly and did not suffer any injuries, according to local biologists.<br /><br />Source and images: Comité Argentino de APECS<br /><br />
