Volunteers step up as donations pour in for Texas flood victims

A donation center in Center Point, Texas, has been established in the town's high school, where volunteers loaded trucks with tools, non-perishable foods and water on July 7, 2025 for victims of the deadly July 4 floods. 'Our first thing right now is really to take care of our friends and neighbors that have lost everything. And we're still searching for some of our neighbors and friends too,' Center Point resident John Finster, 58, told Reuters. The streets of Center Point were flooded, the fire station was badly damaged and a bridge over the Guadalupe River is still closed.

REUTERS VIDEO

Subscribe to The Manila Times Channel - https://tmt.ph/YTSubscribe
Visit our website at https://www.manilatimes.net

Follow us:
Facebook - https://tmt.ph/facebook
Instagram - https://tmt.ph/instagram
Twitter - https://tmt.ph/twitter
DailyMotion - https://tmt.ph/dailymotion

Subscribe to our Digital Edition - https://tmt.ph/digital

Check out our Podcasts:
Spotify - https://tmt.ph/spotify
Apple Podcasts - https://tmt.ph/applepodcasts
Amazon Music - https://tmt.ph/amazonmusic
Deezer: https://tmt.ph/deezer
Stitcher: https://tmt.ph/stitcher
Tune In: https://tmt.ph/tunein

#TheManilaTimes
#WorldNews
#Texas
