Senators urged against showing biases ahead of Sara impeach trial<br /><br />Malacanang on July 8, 2025 urges senator-judges to refrain from displaying their biases on the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro issued the statement after Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri called that the impeachment against Duterte as a witch-hunt aimed at removing her from the 2028 presidential race. 'First of all, they're saying that this is a witch hunt? The trial has not even started yet.
