What’s the real reason Pluto WAS a planet and isn’t anymore? <br /><br />My take: It never should have been. But I still love it! Hear me out! Once upon a time in 1930, there were 8 planets. Then an observatory in Arizona spotted a new one... <br /><br />If you look at the reports at the time, you’ll see we thought it was the size of Earth or larger! But then… with more observation, estimates started to shrink… <br /><br />By the time I was a kid, we knew Pluto was smaller than the MOON!
