Solid Aero has officially unveiled the Talay, the world’s first multifunctional drone capable of operating as an ekranoplan, during the IDEF 2025 international defence exhibition held in Istanbul, Turkey.<br /><br />The Talay can fly approximately three metres above sea level, making it virtually undetectable by most coastal radar systems. With a payload capacity of up to 30 kg, the unmanned vehicle can be used for reconnaissance, transport, attack missions, or even as a kamikaze drone.
