Patna (Bihar), July 13, 2025 (ANI): The issue of illegal immigration and border security in Bihar, particularly concerning nationals from Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Nepal, has sparked significant controversy, as highlighted by recent reports and political discourse. As the Supreme Court allows the Election Commission to conduct a special investigation on the electoral polls, Founder of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) Mukesh Sahani said, "When the Election Commission was doing these things without preparation, questions started raising on them. Then they started saying things like these—that people of Bangladesh, Myanmar, and other countries are saying all these things just to mislead the people. If these things are true, then the Home Minister of the nation and the state CM should resign... This is the responsibility of the govt. to protect the border and make sure that no person from another nation resides in Bihar”.
