July 13, 2025 – Southend, England – A Beechcraft B200 Super King Air medical evacuation aircraft burst into flames moments after taking off from Southend Airport in Essex at around 4:00 p.m. local time.<br /><br />The crash produced a massive fireball and a thick column of black smoke visible from miles away.<br /><br />The plane was operated by Dutch company Zeusch Aviation, which specializes in air medical and organ transport. The aircraft, equipped with advanced medical systems such as the LifePort Plus, was headed to Lelystad in the Netherlands after arriving earlier from Pula, Croatia.
