Bhubaneswar (Odisha), July 15, 2025 (ANI): In protest against the Balasore self-immolation case, Congress and seven other political parties have announced a statewide Odisha Bandh on July 17. The parties are demanding strict action against those responsible for the student’s death and the removal of the Higher Education Minister. The bandh call comes amid growing public outrage over the incident, where a student allegedly took her life after being denied justice.
