Today's contestants are Alan Redpath & Lorna Casey from County Durham, Janet Hallett & Simon Williams from Avon, Roger & Julia Hobcraft from Kent, and David & Dawn Adley from County Antrim. Bruce Forsyth hosts, but the issue over Rosemary Ford's "rough handling" of the contestants still rumbles on, it seems. However, Brucie has a few interesting tales from the contestants to deflect from this, with at least two of the young female contestants relating stories where their blushes weren't spared, while Brucie has fun with one chap's name share with Simon Williams and when he learns he is a hairdresser comes up with a very risque quip that seems to go over the heads of the audience. Among the games are "Ribbons in Rhythm", "Potters Wheel" (and you won't believe how bad they are at this), "Caribbean Calypso" and "Nature's Noises", where they have to mime the animal to their sound for their team mate (not easy). The finale involves a ventriloquist act with Neville King that will likely divide audiences, but more of interest for viewers will be the previous game Caribbean Calypso. For among the duo demonstrating for the contestants is none other than Ainsley Harriott, a couple of years before he would find fame as a chef in Ready Steady Cook!
