External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar welcomed the US decision to designate The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy, as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation and a Specially Designated Global Terrorist entity. He called it a strong affirmation of India-US counter-terrorism cooperation and thanked U.S. State Secretary Marco Rubio and the State Department. Jaishankar noted that TRF had claimed responsibility for the April 22 Pahalgam attack and reiterated India’s stance of zero tolerance for terrorism.
