Manchester United have completed the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford for an initial fee of £65 million plus a further £6m in add-ons. The Cameroon international has signed a contract until June 2030, with the option to extend for a further year.

The 25-year-old was identified as a top target by head coach Ruben Amorim and is expected to form a key part of their first-team squad. Mbeumo completed his medical examinations in Manchester over the weekend and will be named in the United squad for their upcoming pre-season tour of the US.
Mbeumo could make his United debut when they face West Ham in the Premier League Summer Series this weekend, and it will be fascinating to see which position he is utilised in.

The Cameroonian scored 20 league goals for Brentford last season and is capable of playing in attacking midfield and on the wing. United view the transfer fee as fair value, looking at the current market for players with less impact. Over the last three seasons, only Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins have more Premier League goals than Mbeumo.

#mufc #manutd #manchesterunited #transfers #transfernews #bryan #mbeumo #breaking
