21 जुलाई को जगदीप धनखड़ ने उपराष्ट्रपति के तौर पर इस्तीफा देकर सबको चौंका दिया. संसद के मानसून सत्र के पहले ही दिन उन्होंने अपना इस्तीफा राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को सौंप दिया. उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य कारणों का हवाला देते हुए इस्तीफा दिया है. विपक्ष जो जगदीप धनखड़ की ज्यादातर समय आलोचना किया करते थे और उनके खिलाफ महाभियोग प्रस्ताव तक लाया था, इस फैसले से चौंक गए. विपक्षी दलों का कहना है कि मामला कुछ और है, जो साफ नजर नहीं आ रहा. ये सही है कि जगदीप धनखड़ बीते कुछ समय से बीमार चल रहे थे और हाल में ही हृदय संबंधी समस्याओं का इलाज करवाया था. मानसून सत्र के पहले दिन ही उनके इस्तीफे न सबको चौंका दिया. एक विपक्षी दल के नेता ने तो कहा कि जब इस्तीफा ही देना था तो सत्र शुरू होने के पहले ही दे देते...धनखड़ के इस्तीफे को लेकर 3 थ्योरी राजनीतिक हलकों में घूम रही है. <br /> <br /> <br />((On 21 July, Jagdeep Dhankhar surprised everyone by resigning as Vice President.
