Electra - Adaptionen 1976 (GDR),Symphonic Rock, Prog Rock<br /><br />Electra, formerly Electra Combo (proper spelling electra), is a rock band from Dresden. It is one of the oldest active bands in Germany.<br /><br />It was founded in 1969 by Peter "Gin" Ludewig, Bernd Aust, Wolfgang Riedel, Karl-Heinz stripes and Ekkehard Berger, who were students at the Dresden University of Music Carl Maria von Weber at that time.<br />Founding member Bernd Aust 2009<br /><br />Electra is known for electronically supported adaptations of classical music, but also for progressive rock with expressive vocals and long instrumental solos.
