WOMAN FINDS PIGEON NEST IN HER BATHROOM<br /> <br />WITH VID AND PIX<br />BY TIM TONG<br /> <br />Watch as this a woman documents the growth of two baby pigeons who nested inside her bathroom, right next to the shower.<br /> <br />Marlene Blanke, from Berlin, Germany, filmed these clips showing the pigeon nest tucked into the corner of the bathroom windowsill, home to two tiny baby pigeons, who were later named Trixie and Katya.<br /> <br />The video also shows Merlene’s effort in decorating the already cozy nest, adding water, food, and even wall art next to their nest.<br /> <br />Merlene, pleasantly surprised by the unusual but cozy setup, filmed the discovery and shared it on TikTok, which quickly gathered over 1 million views, prompting both amusement and curiosity from viewers.<br /> <br />Merlene said: “I looked up wildlife services to maybe move them to a safer location, but protection laws say they cannot be disturbed when they nest.”<br /> <br />She added: “I’ve been showering at my boyfriend’s place ever since I discovered them.”<br />“The baby pigeon’s names Trixie and Katya came from our favourite drag queens.”<br />“Once I realised the pigeon are here to stay, I did a bunch of research, now my daily routine includes feeding them fresh food every morning.”<br /> <br />ENDS
