FAMILY OF ORCAS GLIDES PAST BOAT AND DIVER<br /> <br />WITH VID<br />BY TIM TONG<br /> <br />Watch the breathtaking moment a pod of orcas swims directly beneath a small boat-just metres away from a snorkeller floating nearby.<br /> <br />Celine Kern, from Whangaparāoa, New Zealand, filmed this footage where David Burger can be seen snorkelling in open water when several orcas, adults and calves, gracefully glide right past him and under the boat.<br /> <br />The close encounter left Celine and David shocked as the huge whales swamp past/<br /> <br />Despite their size and power, the orcas showed no signs of aggression, passing peacefully by.<br /> <br />Posted on TikTok, the video amassed over 10 million views, with many calling it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.<br /> <br />One user wrote: ‘He’s lucky Orcas are very picky eaters.’<br />Another added: ‘Very dangerous, that’s an apex predator.’<br /> <br />ENDS
