Waldorf Astoria reopens as ‘The Greatest of Them All’ after 8-year renovation

The Waldorf Astoria has reopened following an eight-year closure for a full-scale restoration and renovation.

The historic Park Avenue hotel, which originally closed in 2017, underwent a comprehensive overhaul that reduced its 1,400 hotel rooms to 375 larger guest rooms and suites. The project also added 372 private residences, marking the first time in the property’s history that ownership has been available.

"They call it 'The Greatest of Them All' for a reason because some hotels, they just speak to you and this hotel has an incredible soul," said managing director Luigi Romaniello. "You feel the energy already when you first walk in and then now it's a hotel that is moving forward, writing a new chapter in the future."

REUTERS VIDEO

Subscribe to The Manila Times Channel - https://tmt.ph/YTSubscribe
Visit our website at https://www.manilatimes.net

Follow us:
Facebook - https://tmt.ph/facebook
Instagram - https://tmt.ph/instagram
Twitter - https://tmt.ph/twitter
DailyMotion - https://tmt.ph/dailymotion

Subscribe to our Digital Edition - https://tmt.ph/digital
Sign up to our newsletters: https://tmt.ph/newsletters

Check out our Podcasts:
Spotify - https://tmt.ph/spotify
Apple Podcasts - https://tmt.ph/applepodcasts
Amazon Music - https://tmt.ph/amazonmusic
Deezer: https://tmt.ph/deezer
Tune In: https://tmt.ph/tunein

#TheManilaTimes
#WorldNews
#WaldorfAstoria
