The inquest into the death of 25-year-old Ace Wilson has formally opened at Wakefield coroner’s court.<br />Ace was found unresponsive in his cell at HMP Leeds on Friday, June 14.<br />Paramedics were called, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.<br />The provisional cause of death remains “pending investigation”.<br />His death is under active police investigation.<br />Several members of Ace’s family were present in court.<br />Their solicitor said the strong turnout reflects their deep concern over the circumstances surrounding his death.<br />The inquest has been adjourned and will continue at a later date.
