The United States Army carried out a high-speed test of the HIMARS rocket system on Christmas Island, an Australian territory in the Indian Ocean, as part of the Talisman Sabre 2025 military exercise.<br /><br />The operation also involved forces from Canada and Australia and aimed to demonstrate rapid response and precision strike capabilities from remote locations.
