I Drive - I Drive - Demo Tracks (1969 - 1972) Germany ,Hard Rock, Prog Rock<br /><br /><br />I emerged Drive in Manchester (UK) in 1966 and were one of the last British bands to enter Germany at the Star Club. Led by singer Geff Harrison that his fame after adiquiriu bands wenty Sixty Six And Then Kin Ping Meh and.<br /><br />The band established itself in Germany four years ago, playing in nightclubs, but in the late sixties the club scene died it was then that they decided to rent a house to rehearse, right in the middle of nowhere, thereafter only the faithful fans accompanied on tour.<br /><br />In 1969 it launched the first single being sold only at concerts a year later Geff Harrison left the group to start his own career. And the remaining quartet was finally discovered by a British manager, who had worked for the Beatles.<br /><br />He installed the banda in Munich (Germany), where they recorded over 30 for the LP. One of the songs that did not make was to release the alternate version of "Before the Devil", where the band played with the Orchestra Filamornica Munich.<br /><br />In 1972 he was finally released their first album, being released in season for a large German company, having few copies pressed and distributed. The band could not bear the disappointment over the failure of the commercial LP and disbanded shortly after the album's release. There was only a small epilogue to the story of I Drive: a short return with Harrison for some gigs visiting Spain, before finally dying ...<br /><br />The album is posted here is a double disc, the first compound of a hard heavy keyboards in line with bands like Deep Purple, Uriah Heep.
