Microsoft Q4 Earnings Highlights: Double Beat, CEO Says 'Cloud And AI Is The Driving Force'

Microsoft reported fourth-quarter revenue of $76.44 billion, up 17% year-over-year and above the $73.80 billion estimate. Earnings per share reached $3.65, beating the $3.37 forecast. Microsoft's revenue grew across all segments, with Productivity and Business Processes up 16%, Intelligent Cloud up 26%, and More Personal Computing up 9%. Azure and other cloud services grew 39%, lifting total cloud revenue to $46.7 billion, up 27% year-over-year. Microsoft 365 Commercial and Consumer cloud revenues rose 18% and 20%, respectively. CEO Satya Nadella said cloud and AI are driving business transformation across all industries, with the company innovating to support customer growth. He noted that Azure surpassed $75 billion in annual revenue, up 34% year-over-year. Microsoft stock was up 7.2% in after-hours trading.
