The British daily The Guardian explores Israel’s "mathematics of starvation". The formula, the paper argues, is simple: Palestinians cannot leave, farming has been halted by war, and fishing is banned by Israel — meaning every single calorie must be imported. Israel, knowing how much food is needed, has been "calibrating hunger in Gaza for decades" to apply pressure without triggering full-scale starvation. But that calculation has changed. Today, the numbers add up to famine. Israeli officials, the paper says, can no longer shift blame for this man-made catastrophe. Other front page underpin the gravity of the months-long famine. Al Quds al Araby, the pan-Arab London based paper calls the outrage over the famine a "diplomatic tsunami against Israel". For the paper, the sacrifices of Palestinians has opened the path to the possible recognition of the Palestinian state by several countries.
