The Koala (Phascolarctos Cinereus) Is A Typical Australian Marsupial And The Sole Member Of The Phascolarctidae Family.<br />Although Often Called The Koala Bear, The Koala Is Not A Bear, But Rather A Pouched Mammal.<br />Koalas Are The Largest Living Leaf-Eating Marsupials, Weighing Around 7–9 Kg.<br />They have Adapted Forelimbs For Grasping And Climbing Vertically In Eucalyptus Trees.<br />Their Scientific Name, Phascolarctos Cinereus, Comes From The Greek Words "Phaskolos" (Pouch) And "Arktos" (Bear).<br /><br />Video by :<br />Sabawaihi & David Clode
