Catholics begin pilgrimage in El Salvador against mining, in support of migrants<br /><br />The Salvadoran Catholic Church begins the eighth pilgrimage 'Way of San Oscar Romero,' in commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the birth of the first saint of El Salvador. It lasts two days, ending in the municipality of Ciudad Barrios, 157 kilometers from San Salvador, where Monsignor Oscar Romero was born.
