Jellybread - First Slice 1970 (UK, Blues / Blues Rock)<br /><br /><br />A group from Brighton (East Sussex County), active in 1968-1971 and named for one of the hits of "Booker T. & The MGs". The group was formed by pianist and vocalist Pete Wingfield, guitarist Paul Butler, bassist John Best and drummer Chris Waters. The sources of inspiration for them were the blues of the West Coast and soul. Both these directions were dominant in the music that was being performed by Jellybread.
