हिमाचल प्रदेश में बेलगाम विकास से पर्यावरण को हो रहे नुकसान पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गहरी चिंता जताई है. कोर्ट ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा है कि अगर ऐसा ही चलता रहा तो हिमाचल एक दिन नक्शे से गायब हो जाएगा. कोर्ट ने मामले पर स्वतः संज्ञान लेते हुए राज्य सरकार से 4 सप्ताह में रिपोर्ट मांगी है. राज्य सरकार को बताना होगा कि उसने पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए क्या कदम उठाए हैं और भविष्य को लेकर क्या योजना है. मामले की अगली सुनवाई 25 अगस्त को होगी. <br /> <br />((The Supreme Court has expressed deep concern over the damage being caused to the environment due to unbridled development in Himachal Pradesh.
