Plans to develop a third port in Pulau Carey, Kuala Langat, are still at the preliminary stage, said Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.<br /><br />He said the matter was discussed during a joint committee meeting on industrial coordination between the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) and the Selangor government on Monday (Aug 4).<br /><br />Amirudin added that if the project progresses as expected, it may be included in the 13th Malaysia Plan (2026–2030) or the Second Selangor Plan (RS-2), which is scheduled to be tabled in June 2026.<br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
