The Netherlands has pledged US$578 million dollars to purchase U.S. arms for Ukraine under a new NATO weapons finance scheme. That makes it the first NATO member country to do so after U.S. President Donald Trump last month said the U.S. would resume providing arms to Ukraine and that European allies would pay for them.
