PH, India sign 13 agreements on trade, defense, technology, among others<br /><br />The Philippines and India sign 13 bilateral agreements covering trade, law enforcement, security and defense, digital technologies, maritime cooperation, science and technology, tourism, culture and arts, and space cooperation on Aug. 5, 2025. The agreements were signed following the bilateral meeting between President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, where they discussed various areas of cooperation under the declaration of the Philippines-India Strategic Partnership. Marcos and Modi witnessed the presentation and exchange of bilateral agreements between their respective Cabinet Secretaries and Ministers, before delivering their joint press statements.
