She begins recounting how she ended up there.<br /><br />New Mission: Over the summer, she’s honed her psychic powers using Goody Addams’s guidebook and sets out to catch the Kansas City Scalper, a serial killer she’s been obsessed with since childhood.<br /><br />Thing’s Help: Her trusty sidekick, Thing, steals a piece of evidence that allows Wednesday to see visions revealing the killer’s identity and location.<br /><br />Showdown: She confronts the Scalper but is initially defeated. With Thing’s help, she turns the tables and takes him down.<br /><br />Return to Nevermore: Wednesday heads back to Nevermore Academy as a sophomore, now joined by her younger brother Pugsley—who’s developed lightning powers.<br /><br />New Threats: Meanwhile, a mysterious investigator is attacked by a swarm of crows after sending a cryptic voice note.
