Tap-and-go contactless payment methods promise a safe and convenient way to shop but no one likes the extra charges that come with it. Experts are now warning we could soon be paying more for all of our banking if new payment reforms successfully ban card surcharges and banks have to find a way to claw back some of that lost revenue.
