Taiwan Joins Japan Atomic Bombing Memorials for First Time

On August 6, 1945, the Japanese city of Hiroshima was destroyed by the first atomic bomb ever used in war. Wednesday marks the 80th anniversary of the bombing, and for the first time, Taiwanese representatives joined the memorial services.
