Marcos pushes for trade deal with India to boost market access, supply chain resilience<br /><br />President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Aug. 6, 2025 pushes for the conclusion of a bilateral preferential trade agreement between the Philippines and India to expand market access and strengthen supply chain resilience between the two countries. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said that the President made the pitch for the trade deal during a CEO roundtable meeting with Indian business leaders on the third day of his state visit here.
