The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and eight others in its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s history and federal handling of his sex trafficking cases, according to the BBC. The committee launched its inquiry into Epstein's history after the Trump administration declined to release additional federal files on him. The decision not to release more Epstein files angered Trump supporters and some Democrats who rejected the DOJ's claim that no incriminating client list existed. A spokesperson confirmed that Bill Clinton took four trips on Epstein's private plane and met with him in New York in 2002, including a visit to Epstein's apartment. Depositions are set to begin this month and continue through autumn, with Bill Clinton scheduled to appear on October 14th.
