Convicted NSW MP Gareth Ward resigns from parliament

Disgraced MP Gareth Ward has resigned from the New South Wales parliament ahead of a vote in the legislative assembly to expel him. Ward is in jail waiting to be sentenced after being convicted of sex crimes involving two young men.
