An elephant on Saturday evening suddenly appeared at the Lachhiwala Toll Plaza on the Dehradun–Haridwar National Highway, causing chaos at the spot. <br /> <br />The elephant first approached the toll plaza station and knocked down the barrier at the VIP lane. Meanwhile, a car tried to force its way past in front of the elephant, which angered it. The elephant struck the car with its trunk, shattering the rear windshield. <br /> <br />Following that, the elephant apparently turned towards the white tempo but, luckily for the driver, made no contact. It then headed straight into the forest. <br /> <br />The sudden attack left all four passengers in the car terrified. Fortunately, the elephant did not launch any further attack and calmly returned to the forest.
