The Jammu and Kashmir State Investigation Agency (SIA) has carried out multiple raids in central Kashmir on August 12 as part of a reopened probe into the 35-year-old murder of Sarla Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit woman. The raids targeted individuals linked to the banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and are part of wider efforts to resolve long-pending cases from the violent early 1990s.
