FOX CADDY MELTS HEARTS WITH GOLFERS <br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />A curious fox stole the spotlight on a golf course, following players from hole to hole and even inspecting their gear.<br />The encounter was filmed by Chris Mellon from Dublin at Deer Park Golf Club in Dublin, Ireland, as he played a round with friends<br />The playful animal nicknamed Gerry by locals sat politely watching as shots were taken before trotting after the group, sniffing, and nibbling at their golf bags.<br />Chris said the fox stuck with them for multiple holes, appearing to search for snacks while silently judging their “wayward drives.”<br />The viral clip has been viewed nearly two million times, with viewers charmed by Gerry’s caddying skills and impeccable etiquette.<br />Chris said: "This fox is well known for following golfers around the Deer Park golf course in Dublin, Ireland. <br />"He followed myself and my friends for multiple holed, looking for snacks while judging our wayward drives."<br />The comment section erupted in support for Gerry the fox.<br />One person commented: “What a beautiful thing to see, nobody throwing things at him. We took their habitat, all they have now is to try to scrape a life alongside us. Be kind to wildlife always. <br />God bless Ireland.”<br />Another wrote: “Unimpressed with that first shot, but willing to caddy.”<br />A third said: “I thought golf wasn’t for me.
