He declares that all “loyal Germans” must join the movement, but that only the “best” will become true party comrades.<br /><br />The ceremony includes the consecration of new Nazi flags with the Blutfahne (the “blood banner,” a symbolic relic of the Nazi movement). The film then shows mass formations of SA and SS troops, followed by Rudolf Hess leading the crowd in collective chants of “Sieg Heil!”. The rally ends with the Nazi anthem Horst-Wessel-Lied.
