Wrexham AFC is adjusting to life in the EFL Championship after a historic return to England’s second tier for the first time in 43 years. <br />The club, co-owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, achieved three consecutive promotions, culminating in their Championship debut in August 2025. <br />Facing stronger competition, Wrexham has invested heavily in new signings, including Nathan Broadhead for £10 million, to bolster their squad. <br />Despite a challenging start, including a 2–1 loss to Southampton, the club remains determined to establish themselves in the Championship.
