TOURISTS GREETED BY PINK-FOOTED PIGS ON GREEK ISLAND<br />WITH PIX AND VID<br />By Shuk Yee Tsang<br />Tourists arriving on a remote island were greeted by adorable pigs with striking pink feet.<br />Kamilla Pellei, 18, from Hungary, captured the moment during a summer trip to Atokos, better known as Piggy Island, near Lefkada, Greece.<br />As Kamilla’s boat pulled up, pigs began emerging from the trees and wandering onto the shoreline, eagerly approaching the visitors.<br />Seeing the pigs on the beach for the first time was a dream come true for Kamilla, as she vowed to visit after seeing online videos months earlier.<br />The bargain excursion cost her family just €45 per person, including food and a drink.<br />Although some viewers joked about the pigs' unusual appearance, most found them utterly adorable.<br />Kamilla said: “When I stepped off the boat, I felt like I was dreaming.<br />“If I hadn’t taken any videos, I wouldn’t have remembered every detail later.<br />“I also wanted to share this breathtaking place with the world.<br />“It was my first time, but hopefully not the last.<br />“Some people make fun of them, but most people find them adorable.”<br />ENDS
