A Deliveroo driver was caught on a doorbell camera marking food as delivered before riding off with the order.<br /><br />Daniel Ali, 19, from Bristol, spotted the driver taking a photo of his food delivery before placing it back into his bag and cycling away on August 18.<br /><br />After the clip circulated on TikTok, the driver contacted Ali directly, apologised, and confirmed the order details to prove it was him. <br /><br />Deliveroo have refunded the cost of the meal and Ali has since removed the footage.<br /><br />He described the incident as a "crazy experience" that only unfolded because of TikTok.<br /><br />A Deliveroo spokesperson: “Deliveroo is committed to ensuring the highest standards of behaviour and we take customer experience extremely seriously. We offboarded the rider and issued a refund to the customer after they alerted us to this incident.”
