FBI agents searched the Bethesda, Maryland home of John Bolton, Donald Trump’s former national security adviser and a prominent critic of the president.<br /><br />The operation began early Friday morning, with agents seen entering and leaving the property and carrying boxes inside.<br /><br />The FBI confirmed it was ‘court-authorized activity,’ though the reason for the search has not been disclosed.<br /><br />Bolton, who also served as ambassador to the UN, clashed with Trump after leaving office, calling him unfit to serve and publishing a scathing memoir.
