Tesla is expanding its AI offerings in China, integrating DeepSeek AI and ByteDance Ltd’s Doubao AI into its vehicles, according to Benzinga. Doubao will power voice commands, music playback, and temperature controls, while DeepSeek will handle in-car AI interactions. Both will run on ByteDance’s Volcano Engine cloud platform. The move comes as Elon Musk escalates his feud with OpenAI, accusing Apple of favoring ChatGPT in its app store over his xAI model Grok. The company also faces a class action lawsuit in California alleging misleading claims about FSD capabilities.
