The President of Guyana has declared "Venezuela is a threat" to the "sovereignty" of his country, following the deployment of three U.S. Navy destroyers in the region.<br /><br />And as Venezuela has issued its response to President Ali, neither of them has, so far, commented on the statement by the Prime Minister expressing full support for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for the U.S. deployment.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.<br />
