Chandauli, UP – A major accident took place on Sunday afternoon near Jethamalpur village in Syedraja area when a thick branch of a peepal tree fell on a moving auto-rickshaw.<br /><br />The auto driver, Om Prakash (40) of Rampur, along with passengers Sita (40), Shubham Prajapati (12), an unidentified boy (10), and Sunaina (50), sustained serious injuries. All were rushed to the district hospital by ambulance.<br /><br />Doctors, citing his critical condition, referred driver Om Prakash to BHU Trauma Centre. Sunaina was later shifted by relatives to a private hospital.<br /><br />Police, led by Syedraja SHO Vindeshwari Prasad Pandey, reached the spot immediately and confirmed that all five injured were admitted for treatment.
