New Storm Threat Rising in the Atlantic After Fernand

A new storm threat is brewing right behind Tropical Storm Fernand :tornado:<br />The National Hurricane Center says the chances of cyclone formation in the Atlantic have doubled from 20% to 40%. The system is currently east of the Windward Islands and could strengthen into a tropical depression within the next couple of days.<br /><br />:warning: Heavy rain and gusty winds are expected across the Windward and Leeward Islands whether or not this system develops. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Fernand continues its track northeast, staying well offshore of Bermuda.<br /><br />Stay tuned as the situation develops.
