GIAFFES FIGHTS WITH THEIR NECKS<br />WITH VID<br />By Saloni Mathur<br />Check out this video of two giraffes fighting each other using their long necks as a weapon. <br />Trikansh Sharma, a photography coach and wildlife tourism expert, visited Kenya on a safari when he came across this bizarre fight. <br />When male giraffes fight each other by swinging their necks, it is called "necking". <br />During necking, giraffes use their long necks and the bony ossicones on their heads to strike their opponents, sometimes resulting in injuries.<br />Trikansh Sharma, from Uttarakhand, India, said: “At first, necking looks a very awkward form of fighting. <br />“But as you observe more, you get mesmerised by the graceful and powerful neck movements of these gentle giants.”<br />ENDS
