The US Air Force has achieved a major milestone in the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, which aims to develop unmanned fighters designed to fly alongside fifth and sixth-generation aircraft.<br /><br />Less than two years after the initiative’s launch, one of the prototypes, designated YFQ-42A and built in partnership with General Atomics, completed its first flight at a California test facility.<br /><br />š Testing took place in California, with additional evaluations planned at Edwards and Nellis AFB.<br /><br />Source and images: Official United States Air Force
