Bristol’s first-ever Krazy Races Soapbox Derby will be taking place next week (September 7) at Windmill Hill in Victoria Park from 9am, with over 40 local teams.<br /><br />Teams will compete for various titles, including Best Dressed and Most Creative Kart Design, and will race to the finish in gravity-powered soapboxes fuelled by courage, inspiration and a dash of luck!<br /><br />Ahead of the derby, all 40 teams brought their carts to the official scrutineering day at Ashton Gate Stadium, where every soapbox undergo safety checks - including those all-important brakes - while also offering the first sneak peek at the weird, wonderful, and wildly creative designs that will hit the track in September.<br /><br />Video credit: Krazy Races<br />
