FATHER OF THE BRIDE NEARLY DROWNS IN INCH DEEP POOL<br /> <br />WITH VID<br />By Tim Tong<br /> <br />This is the hilarious moment a father of the bride needed rescuing after coming down a resort waterslide the morning after his daughter’s wedding.<br />Jackie Depeppo, a hairstylist from Staten Island, New York, filmed her 70-year-old father Val as he splashed into the shallow waterslide pool at Crystal Springs.<br />To everyone’s shock, he struggled to stay afloat in the 2ft deep pool and had to be pulled to safety by a lifeguard, who jumped straight into the water in full hoodie.<br /> <br />The clip was shared on Tiktok and gathered over 7 million views.<br /> <br />Jackie said: “He gave the lifeguard money to buy lunch after.”<br /> <br />One user commented: “Drowning in inch deep water isn’t easy.”<br />ENDS
